COVID-19 Process & Procedure Overview
Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have closed our yoga and movement studio at River Family Wellness. BUT OUTDOOR CLASSES START AUGUST 1ST! Click HERE to see our Outdoor class COVID-19 procedures.
Thank you for your patience as we implement strict patient screening and COVID-19 Safety Processes and Procedures.
Acupuncture and Massage services will resume with medical necessity and all of the necessary safety precautions in place.
We ask that you only come into the clinic if you feel it is medically necessary and you are not exhibiting or have:
Fever or any upper respiratory/flu symptoms in last 7 days, including chills, body aches, new loss of smell or taste, nasal congestion, shortness of breath, sore throat, cough, severe headache, vomiting or diarrhea.
Anyone in your home has had fever or any of the above mentioned symptoms in the last 14 days
You have been directly exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive person in last 14 days
You are immune compromised or have moderate to severe preexisting respiratory conditions
You are over 65 and have moderate to severe underlying health conditions
These are the additional precautions we are taking to keep you, our staff and providers safe during this unprecedented time:
*We are asking that everyone wear a mask to their appointment (may be removed as needed during the appointment time). The staff and providers will also be wearing masks.
*Please wait to enter our office no earlier than 5 minutes to your appointment start time. This will allow proper physical distancing as much as possible.
*Please avoid congregating in our front desk/lobby waiting area, and keep a 6 foot distance from our staff once you have paid, to make future appointments.
*We are keeping the office clean and sanitized: We have instituted extra precautionary measures to ensure that viruses and other pathogens are not spread by contact with surfaces. (Continuing to practice universal precautions such as diligent hand washing, regular cleaning and disinfecting, limiting appointments, changing every linen in between patients, disinfecting surfaces, door knobs, entrance handles, etc.)
*If you feel you would need to cancel your appointment because of any symptoms from the above list, our 24 hour cancellation fee is waived during this time.
We know that acupuncture and massage are an important part of your healthcare! We look forward to supporting you during this time of uncertainty.

Outdoor Class COVID-19 Policies & Procedures:
In order to keep our community, students, friends and neighbors as safe as possible, we will be following the guidelines of our local Public Health Department. Before you join us for class, please review and agree to the following information:
*The address for our outdoor classes will be emailed upon registration.
*Pre-registration for In-Person Classes is Required. We are limiting our participants in class. If you cannot attend, please let us know asap so we can open your spot up to another person. If you do not cancel your registration 24 hours prior, you will be charged for class.
*Please wear your mask and maintain 6 foot social distancing as you arrive and set up your space for class. Per our Public Health recommendations, you may remove your mask during your practice for outdoor classes.
*Please bring your own water bottle, mats or props. We are unable to provide these per public health guidelines. If you don't have a yoga mat-a small blanket can work!
*It's possible to use the restroom inside of the house, but we highly recommend using the bathroom before arriving.
*Hand sanitizer will be available upon request.
